Q Are there any products complying with the Food Sanitation Act? Laws and regulations
A.

There are several types of hoses complying with the Food Sanitation Act. Select a hose that meets the operating conditions.

In addition to the Food Sanitation Act, there are hoses suitable for FDA and other legal regulations.

Q Can silicone oil be run through the TOYOSILICONE Hose? Fluid
A.

This will not result in damage to the hose, though it may stick to the outside surface. We cannot, however, guarantee the TOYOSILICONE Hose for uses above 70℃.

Q Why can’t I use hot water over 100 °C for TOYOSILICONE Hose? Function and performance
A.

Due to the characteristics of the TOYOSILICONE Hose, it is a material with higher gas permeability (porous) than vinyl hoses. If high-temperature water exceeding 100 degrees is used, the steam of the high temperature water will permeate the inner pipe of the hose, which may easily damage the reinforcement thread and reduce the hose pressure resistance performance. The hose that can flow hot water up to 140 °C is the TOYOSILICONE Steam Hose.

Q A round hole like a crater appeared in the hose while in use. Please tell me the cause so I can avoid this kind of problem in the future. Function and performance
A.

Pinholes likely formed in areas where the hose material had softened and weakened due to high temperatures. If a pinhole rupture occurs, first check whether the fluid and atmospheric temperatures are within the operating temperature ranges for the hose you are using. If operating temperature ranges are exceeded, take measures such as switching to a heat-resistant hose with a more suitable temperature range.
