Q What is the guaranteed pressure for the TOYOCONNECTOR? Function and performance

A.

TOYOCONNECTOR Series is couplings dedicated for TOYOX Hoses. The warranty covers the operating pressure range of a compatible hose.
However, there are temperature conditions depending on the type of TOYOCONNECTOR. Also, the material’s resistance varies depending on the fluid, so check the coupling details, chemical resistance data, etc.

Q Can the TOYOCONNECTOR be used for other companies’ hoses? Connection

A.

TOYOCONNECTOR Series is couplings dedicated for TOYOX Hoses. Connectability with other companies’ hoses is not guaranteed. Refer to the detailed page of the corresponding TOYOCONNECTOR for compatible hoses.*　Compatible hoses and sizes vary depending on the TOYOCONNECTOR part number.

Q When using the Easy Connecting Joint with a HITRUN Hose, HR-6 and HR-8 have dedicated couplings, but what about HR-11 or HR-13? Connection

A.

Dedicated couplings are not available. Instead, use the following couplings. For the HITRUN Hose, use of common cap nut type couplings may cause the hose to come off or the inner piping to be cut. Be sure to use the Easy Connecting Joint that uses a hose band to tighten the barb nipple. Example: Nitto Kohki 30SH/PH, 40SH/PH

Q I would like to know the replacement guideline for the dedicated couplings for TOYOX hoses (TOYOCONNECTOR FERRULE Type). Other

A.

The TOYOCONNECTOR FERRULE Type coupling is not designed for regular disassembly cleaning. When reusing TOYOCONNECTOR, replace the dedicated replacement sleeve with a new one. Also, please make sure to use a brand-new hose. While the TOYOCONNECTOR FERRULE Type varies depending on the usage conditions, consider five disassemblies a rough guideline for replacing with a new coupling.

Q I would like to know the subsequent product to the W-SAFETY Nipple Set (WFSN). Model lineup

A.

The W-SAFETY Nipple Set (WFSN) will be discontinued. The subsequent product will be TOYOCONNECTOR couplings (dedicated to TOYOX Hose) that can securely connect the hose.

Q What order form and units are used for TOYOSILICONE Hose crimped products? Other

A.

These are made-to-order products with delivery dates. Specify the coupling type, hose diameter, length and quantity when placing an order.

Q Are there different-diameter types of TOYOCONNECTOR for reduced size? Model lineup

A.

There are no different-diameter couplings for TOYOCONNECTOR. There should be a method of adjusting and installing using general different-diameter bushings or the like in the thread part.

Q Are Toyox ferrule couplings ISO-compliant? Specification

A.

Yes. All are ISO2852 ferrule groove compatible parts. When connecting, use a packing for ISO ferrule couplings.

Q What is the difference between the male coupling and pipe thread coupling on the caulking bracket? Specification

A.

Male coupling is for sanitary use. It is not compatible with pipe thread.

Q Do the HF, HM, HC and HNT coupling models come with gaskets? Specification

A.

The HC model comes with a gasket, but the other couplings do not and must be provided for separately. Toyox does not sell gaskets separately. TOYOX provides KAMLOK gaskets separately, but not other coupling packings.
