A factory that produces food products uses hoses in various areas, such as production lines. All of these were assembled with barb fittings and fastened with clamps.
There was an incident where the tip of a worker's glove got shredded while the worker was fastening a clamp, and the pieces ended up in products. The problem was detected and averted before the products were shipped, but we designed clampless hoses to solve this issue in future.
After［ TOYOFOODS HOSE / TOYOCONNECTOR TC3-F / TOYOCONNECTOR TC6-F ］
We decided to use TOYOCONNECTOR to create clampless hoses that would prevent production issues like this, and monitored the new structure, including confirming that this structure would not need require disassembly cleaning. This structure eliminated the issues caused by fastening the hose clamp, so we also began to adopt it for other filling machines and water hoses for cleaning. It also reduces cleaning work as disassembly cleaning is no longer needed, which improves production efficiency.
