TOYOCONNECTOR TC3-FG Coupling

A coupling for equipment and devices handling foods, beverages, chemicals and the like (Toyox hose genuine couplings)

TOYOCONNECTOR is a hose manufacturer designed coupling exclusively for TOYOX hoses.
(Material: SUS/Cap nuts type/Couplings Specification: Ferrule)

The structure that suppresses fluid accumulation is sanitary. Reduction of leakage and disconnection troubles will increase production efficiency. Reduction of piping work time and standardization of work.
It also allows the fluids to be identified by colors of the couplings, which helps prevent incorrect connection and mixing of different fluids.

It is recommended to select hoses suitable to the specific applications and conditions for improved food safety and productivity.

*The TOYOCONNECTOR is designed as a genuine coupling for Toyox hoses. Toyox makes no guarantee that the TOYOCONNECTOR will function properly if connected to another manufacturer’s hose.

Note: When reusing a TOYOCONNECTOR, apply a commercially available lubricant (an extreme-pressure grease) to the fastener portion before tightening the cap nut.

Attachment Method

1 Twist the cap nut to remove it from the nipple.
2 Pass the hose through the cap nut and then the TC3-FG sleeve with packing.
3 Insert the hose into the nipple.
For best results, use the table at right to find the correct hose insertion length and mark the hose before inserting.
As shown in the figure at right, there is a small hole that can be used to check when the hose is inserted to the proper length.
4 As shown in Fig. 1, use a monkey or motor wrench to fasten the flat part of the nipple, and tighten until there is no gap between the nipple and the cap nut.

Attachment Tool

Use a wrench such as a regular adjustable or monkey wrench to finish tightening. Do not, however, use a pipe wrench as it will damage the nut portion.
